New to Buell

I bought an '00 X1 and I'm looking for a upper motor gasket kit. Anyone know where I can pick a kit up? Any ideas on an intake? I hate the breadbox. while I've owned several "yapinese" sports bikes, this is my first American. any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for all the help. I'll give them a try. buellparts.net didn't offer much (to my surprise) but you've given me some great starting points. I own a '98 Yamaha R1 and I think I'm going to paint them to match (it's currently red).

The 2000 buell motor is the same as the xl sportsters minus the crank all the way till 04 the parts will fit for the motor if that info can help you in any way

As for the intake you could scrap that band get a mikuni card and air filter but you would have to make a intake mount to hold the carbon I myself hated the big bread box intakes
