Hello All,
First real post on here..
Recently I picked up a 2006 XB12SS with about 19K on the clock. Bike came with a K&N filter, Someones slip on exhaust and a Seperate Drummer SS that has been gutted (Bummer, I know), also has a buell race ECM.. I was told when i purchased the bike that the ecm was tuned for the drummer but didnt run well, hence the other slip on installed.

The bike ran well for the first 50 or so miles after i bought it with the simple Jardine lookalike slip on installed, I deciced to remove it and install the Drummer after reading all the praise that the SS system gets around here. After the drummer, Bike runs like junk, hesitation when bliping the throttle, slightly more vibration, and when returning to idle it seems to take longer in the lower RPM range. also just to note, I did reset TPS after installing the drummer...

Started thinking today that the map on the ECM that came with the bike isnt the correct one for the current settup. Placed a call to Adam at Buell and he assured me what I had was an ECM for the Buell Race exhaust and was not the correct map for the Drummer and K&N.

Couple of questions... Can I just locate a Map for the K&N and the Drummer SS to load onto the race ecm? or do I need to drop the $300 on a new ecm from Buell?
Next question... Am I hurting anything buy running this gutted exhaust? I've Spoke with Kevin at drummer and he has offered to rehab the muffler for a price but fund are low, especially if I need to buy another ECM.

Any feedback is welcome, This is my first bike and I'm learning as I go..

Thanks
