New to site. havin exhaust issues

I recently bought an 03 xb9r. It came with a homemade straight pipe welded to the head pipe. Not a big problem at first but while I was riding today the head pipe broke completely in 2 where the front cylinder pipe was welded at the collector from the factory. I'm guessing it broke due to not being mountedto the bike anywhere except the exhaust ports. Anybody have a stock head pipe laying around that could be shipped overnight to kentucky? Thanks ahead for all advice and info

Advice on an aftermarket full exhaust would be greatly appreciated also

To get this straight: there were no straps holding the exhaust in place? Ouch!

My advice is to check ebay. There's usually a few headers on there (at least on the US ebay, very few on the UK one).

Check the mounting studs, if the exhaust is not strapped you might have broke one. That is what happened with my bike when the po ran str8 pipe.

Correct. No straps whatsoever. I took the pipes off last night and the studs look fine but all 4 of the nuts weren't as tight as I thought they should be
