Hey guys, I have finally gotten my dream of getting a motorcycle and it being a XB12S.

Anyway, I have been looking for some gear to wear while out riding. Im curious to know what everyone else wears when they go out riding? Brands models and how comfortable the gear is.

Thanks everyone,

Marc

Welcome! I guess it depends on the type of riding you plan on doing. Some guys here wear A* track leathers all the time with race boots. Others of will wear jeans and mesh/leather riding jackets for commuting.

You'll find dozens of threads on gear here. Like this one.A tip: search the forum with Google rather than the search function up top. So drop something like "Buellxb.com riding gear" into Google.

Welcome! Let's see some pics!

I wear a Buell Adventure jacket and usually jeans (but own the Adventure pants too) and steel toe work boots...Of course gloves and a Sparx lid too :D Keep safe!!

Plus when I'm going for longer and more aggresive rides I also wear these under cargo pants or something

Always wear a helmet.
Basically, you never know if something bad is going to happen, so you'll better have all joints/back etc covered with CE-approved armor, and wear gear that will save you from road rash as much as possible. So durable leather and jeans designed for bikers with kevlar and such reinforcements at knees etc

I have several different jackets for different riding and weather, I wear a first gear jacket with liner and Joe rocket gloves that are waterproof in cold weather, then I have a mesh jacket for warm riding, I also picked up a leather buell jacket that I'll probably wear during cold riding too. Always wear a helmet! I go with HJC good quality and not over te top expensive, look for one that's DOT approved and if possible another one of the approvals as well. Atleast wear a good pair of pants and close toed shoes.
