HI. I am new to this forum. I am talking to a dealer about a new 1125CR. Any advice? Hopefully, we can get all the loose ends tied up and I can get this bike shipped to me so I can be ready when this weather thaws out. I'm not really worried about future parts and service issues, I think there will always be parts out there. That said a few of the dealers I have talked to really give you the stepchild treatment. WTF? Anyway I can't wait to get mine. Erik Buell was WAY ahead of his time. Cheers, Steve

Welcome, i hope every thing works out with your new buell. Post pics as soon as you get you new bike.:D

Hey, is this another KY Bueller?....well, future Bueller anyways. I live in London, KY. I know of one other in the immediate area, he works at Wildcat Harley - and a few others scattered out. Where in central KY are you?

Either way, hope everything works out and Welcome to the Forum.

Welcome mate... its good to see another future Buell rider gettin into the mix... Im from Adelaide South Australia and not too many fellow Buell riders about... anyone know of any around OZ also.My first advice would be to get rid of the deer antler mirrors.. really hard to adjust and have limited vision, good if ya like lookin at your elbows..lol. Enjoy the site..lots of really usefull info, and great pics. Get yours up mate...!!

Stevenc150, I'm in Lexington. Maybe we can hit a few twisties sometime. I ahven't seen too many Buell riders around, but it might be a case of wrong place, wrong time.

Hey AussieBuellRida, Appreciate the advice. The mirrors definitely have to go. Maybe bar end mirrors. Australia sounds pretty cool. Hope to visit one day!! I'll post a few pics when I get the bike. Cheers.

Sounds good. I know of a few Buellers in Richmond also. We'll see if we can something going this year.

Oh, and it's completely normal to be treated like a red-headed step child by the HD stealerships. That's a part of being a Bueller that drew me to it. :D[up]

Steve, I'm up in the interior of British Columbia. Riding season up here can be from Feb. through to Nov. or Dec. I'm not on the road yet, as my bike is still under the knife in my shop. There's more bikes out every day though and I'm getting itchy to ride mine.
Cheers. :D

Aussie nailed it. As with almost all the Buells I have rode or sat on, the mirrors have to be fixed. I finally put bar ends on my lightning, boy does that make a difference. Now not only do I not have to look through my elbows, but they rattle less so I can actually focus on something behind me. Glad to have you aboard.

Yeah Steve.. I have just replaced mine with the adjustable bar end mirrors off ebay and chucked a set of small LED indicators front n rear.Check out the pic at my local beach , top place to visit mate, a fellow Bueller will always be welcome!!!. next step the new pipe.. recon ill go with the Jardine RT5.. any one have any comments on that pipe..??

Hey Aussie! Love your mods., very cool!! That's probably the first thing I'm going to do. Great photo. Any time you can get up here your welcome as well. No beach though:(
Cheers

ridendude,
usually we can get the odd riding day here from Dec. through Feb., but right now it's snow and ice everywhere. I'm jealous. It would be nice to ride that much in the year.
