She is looking good if you ask me :D:D:D

It is not a 9 specific pipe it is just made from the 9 can to save weight. It is only with his race pipe that the pipes are motor specific.

Here is the description he put on ebay.

"Voodoo-Fabrication "XXX" front exit muffler. Fits both xb9 and xb12 Buells. This one was built from an xb9 muffler so the valve is not there. It can be used on an xb12 if the servo cable is simply secured aside. Makes great power from 3,000 rpms and up. It was designed to work with the Buell race ecm. It has a very nice deep tone to it. It is loud but yet not ear splitting loud. Another nice feature is that you get almost zero helmet resonance with this muffler. It does not retain the factory jacking points so stands will have to be used to lift the bike. The front chin fairing does require trimming to fit the muffler as shown in the pics. It weighs in about 5lbs less than a stock muffler. The muffler does have scrapes on the bottom as can be seen in the pics. Auction is for muffler only! Motorcycle is not included. It is there strictly to show what the muffler looks like installed."

Looks good, always thought about getting one since I seen the prototype.

How do you like it?

Side note your missing a torques screw on the chin fairing.

Xtremelow, I like the pipe overall. I had the voodoo diy before this and there is a noticeable difference in power after 3000 rpms. I do like the tone of the diy better when the bike is idling. The diy is deeper and a little quieter compared to the XXX which is a little louder and sounds more like a dragster. I just paid for a xopti tune and bought a K&N filter and am going to open up the air box, so that will be the real test.

That's a bummer. I emailed him because I was interested in that muffler, and he said it was only for a 9. Maybe it was because my exhaust wouldn't work. He only uses the muffler that you give him.

I think he can use the 12 muffler, but he prefers to use the 9's because of the weight difference.

Also this is the original XXX muffler so i got it for $370 shipped and did not have to send a core in.

The "xxx" front exit can be used on a 12. But it has to be made from an xb9 muffler. The 12 muffler has the valve rigth in the way of the outlet. The valve would have to be completely removed from the 12 muffler to make it work. There realy isn't an easy way to remove the valve.

what about a race muffler? Would that make any difference or no? Is it gutted past the point that would matter?

I've never actualy gutted a race muffler. I have seen inside one with a boroscope thought. It should work as there is no valve in the race mufflers.

Xtremelow, If I were you I would sell the race can and buy a 9 exhaust if you want to send in a muffler to tatt. If you did that you might be able to cover your costs completely just from selling your race can.

Vee lose the belt guards and looks like you will be set, or atleast trim back the top one a bit.

Gotta love Carbon Fiber.

...details to come.

Very sweet rides by the way! The all out holigan (XB12S) is begining to grow on me.

@ 09XB12Ss
Which right side snorkel is that. I like it a lot! I want one.
Also, where can I find the covers you have over the vent holes under the seat?

Sorry if these are obvious questions. I'm new here and am trying to get my head around all of the aftermarket part options.

Thanks

The bike looks great. Love the black coated headers too.
