I saw a callout on Facebook for Buell Blast riders to join. Never realized that buellxb.com catered to Blast riders. Howdy all!

I've never been a huge forum guy and normally pop in and out of forums without saying much. I guess that makes me a mooch. Better late than never.

I bought a 2009 Blast used last summer. All stock, but I've been thinking about getting some new, louder pipes. It's my first motorcycle and I love it. I'll get pics up asap.

I just picked up a 2006 Blast about a month ago and installed a Vance & Hines pipe on it. I love the increase in loudness. I also have a few inline bikes with stock pipes and they are crazy quiet, so this was a nice change of pace for me. The sound reminded me of the Sportster I had with Screamin Eagle pipes. Oh yeah, best part about modding this thing is that the parts are pretty inexpensive. New full exhaust was under $200!

Here is the deal- there is plenty of argument about which after market pipe is best, but they are all better than stock. The best reason to ditch the stock hanging bathtub is to provide easy access to the tranny drain. Also, the after market pipes will get rid of the lawn tractor sound of the Blast and make it play sweet music.
