just picked up an XB12Ss last night and am new here.
i saw a bike with the tail light mount chopped(really short) and am guessing there is an aftermarket piece to get rid of that long piece.
i saw a black xb9 that looked so cool i almost chocked. lol. this one is sunburst..but the mod will help.
any help or ideas are welcome.

i have plenty of tools and skills..but not sure how it is done.

Welcome to the forum...the tail chop will be my next mod. [up] to fanacrijizm for the free tailchop. This forum is great for support and some good ole fun. Congrats on the new bike.

wacked my cheesegrater this week.
i used the license plate section(chopping it down) and put it underneath..not sure if it might hit the tire though if bottomed out.
i cut the license plate section so it had only the two top bolt.
