NEWBIE XB9SX ?'S

hey,, here we go. another forum joined. i have been riding and racing in enduros and supermoto for years. havnt been back on a sportbike in years but a move to the cali coast deserves a new bike for the stable.

i have been reading much on mods and issues and what years are 'better' than others. there is always a bike year that got it right more than others in stock trim. i see the efi and ecm and suspension are the main changes over the years to the xb9's. i was looking into an 06 or an 08

any suggestions or feedback on which year xb9sx to buy?.. and why?

and i see in a thread the performance upgrades/mods to do.(plugs air exhaust) but is there an ecu or exhaust for certain years and not others?

theres 5-6 different exhausts they all will fit any xbs,ecm from eric buell racing or tune them your self with ecmspy or ohio sportbike down load.

yes i see there are many can options.. which one do you guys like best and why? performance/sound

is there a year xb9sx that has better suspension?

most on here like the hawk then drummer then jardine.the jardine performs better on the 9 than the 12.i have a xb12 with d&d pipe its loud as hell also its the hadrest to tune.americansportbike.com has an article on most of the exhausts with dyno charts and sound clips you should look at.you may want to consider the xb 12 more power,torque and top end.just my 2cen
