Just joined. Loved Buells for a long time. Just never owned one.
Now I’m looking at buying one and would like comments/advice.
Looking at 2 XB9SX’s. One is very clean with 14k miles.
The other has 24k miles but 5-6000 miles on a Hammer big bore kit.
Thoughts?

The stock one if you have a problem most people here would know how to fix it! However if your the type where you think you would want the big bore lot get it, you only have to deal with the Gremlins not the install. Either way it's a Buell good luck!

Also looked at an 1125R. 30000 mi. Not running because he said it needs a fuel pump. Not afraid of doing maintenance.
Just wondering if I’ll eventually want the 1125?

If you are not just looking for a just a commuter bike, Since you are good with wrenching, I would be considering thge 1250, JMO :applause:

The black one is not bone stock , exhaust, tune, bottom belt guards RS scoop, KN filter, header wrap and who knows what else.

An XB and an 1125 are totally different machines built for totally different purposes. It's not like you get an XB and 'step-up' to an 1125, just different, and you'll probably end up with both of them in the garage anyway, lol.

I modify the crap out of everything, and can't help myself... But I always buy stuff as stock as I can.

Couple questions: just curious, does anyone know if the Corbin seat is as low as the scg seat? Anyone have either to sell?
Also, wondering where to get a RSS and a rubber sx airbox protector? Or the entire hero blue cover?
