So I am in the market for a set of boots for riding. They need to be comfortable enough to be on my feet most of the day at work, not look like I'm just got out of my spaceship, and not 1 gazzilion dollars.

I was interested in getting a pair of shift kickers since I had heard good things here, but they apparently don't make them anymore. I currently ride in a pair of slide on work boots and don't like how easily they could come off in a wreck, but figure they are better than my sneakers. Post your suggestions with pics and links if possible.

Or if you have a pair in good shape that you wana sell I wear a size 10 to 10.5

I bought a pair of those shift kickers and sent them back. To me they were huge. They just felt clunky and made me feel like I was struggling with the shifter. They got good reviews, but they didn't work out for me.

I just went out and bought a pair of Nike Air Force One Highs. That's what those kickers were designed after anyway. They also have the Velcro strap to hold your laces in place and in my opinion, they look way better than those shift kickers. They are high on the ankle so you still have ankle protection.

The Nikes just don't have the plastic toe and heel protector, but nonetheless they are great for riding and you can also wear them comfortably all day if you need to. Having said that, they aren't a track style boot so I'm sure I'll get some people who disagree with wearing them.

I ride in these.

I wear a set of AlpineStars I got from SportBike TrackGear and they are fricking AWESOME!!!!! I wear them all the time and they never get uncomfortable. They werent that expensive either SportBikeTrackGear
or Chapparal Racing has some good prices also if you wait and catch them when they do a sale once or twice a month. If you order from STG call them and ask if they can do better on the price they went down like 20 bucks and didnt charge shipping when I did that! I eneded up like 210 shipped to my door

I have both styles of the Shift Kickers (all black and black/white) and LOVE THEM!! They are comfortable, look very stylish, and feel like they would hold up well if I went down. Shift is actually out of business now so I was lucky to get both pairs. I got them from Motorcycle Superstore on close out before they were all gone.

The closest thing I've been able to find that look like them are from Speed and Strength. If I wouldn't have gotten the Shift Kickers, I would have went with any of the three styles S&S make, and they are all around the same price I paid for the Shift Kickers on closeout.

I like these. Especially in red/black and I like the cable lace system. They are pricey though.

Those are closest to the Shift shoes I've found. A* has a pair too but they look like just a pair of sneakers to me. I like most of Icon's boots too but they look more like boots than sneakers.

I hope Shift comes back under a different brand name soon. I loved their gear! I have two of their leather jackets too.
