Just got back from the very first Buell Performance Academy adventure weekend. You have no idea what these bikes will conquer on stock tires. No need for knobbies. I jumped the Uly almost a foot in the air, road up rocky trails that would make a Jeep quiver. Pictures will be following as soon as I get them. Forgot my camera, but others took pics and will be sending them to me. I had the Dunlops on my and gripped pretty DAMN good off road. This is a trip almost worth flying from the states for.

I have a couple of pictures to add, but can't figure out how to do. There is no button for adding a pic and can't copy and paste, any help would be welcome.

Terrific. Would like to make that run. Have a buddy in Devises, Wilts; would make a decent jump off

Here are the three pics I have from the weekend. As you can see, knobbie not needed. If you need knobbies, you should probably buy another bike. My bike had the stock dunlops. It was about half and half, Dunlops and Pirelli's. No traction issues either.

The video looks great. Does this happen alot? I would love to do a couple of days like that.... I only live about 40 mins from north Wales. Have you got any detais on this weekend? or did you all just go?:)

Damn. Being here in the states, nobody would take a bike without knobbies onto roads like that. Hats off to you guys. Looks like a really good time, mud and all. haha. The roads that you show in the beginning of the video that are paved..if they weren't full of potholes, they would be awesome for my xb12r. [up] I was diggin' the "soundtrack" that you had going for your video. Would you mind telling me who/what it was? Thanks!

My buddy Lars made the video. The first song is Snow Patrol and the second is AC/DC Ride On. I don't know if the Buell Performance Academy is going to stay in business with Buell Stopping. They are directly connected to Buell of UK. It is set up to be a way to test drive and show Buell Motorcycles.

Ah yes!

Well this forum would be the best place to set up some thing of our own, would it not?

any one fancy a run?
