Ran 3oz of Seafoam through my tank for the first time last week since I owned it(Since 08). Wow. Throttle response is a bit more crisp, bike really seemed to love it.

For you Seafoam guys, how often should I run it through tank?

I run about 3oz in my Fuel every couple weeks. Seems to make it run smoother all around. I use it in my Buell, HD, and Car. about 1oz per gallon whenever I think of it.

I love the stuff, ran it in my ZX12R and watched the response and fuel mileage jump, my old van that was sucking fuel improved by 4/5 miles per gallon too.

Thanks for the reminder. Bought a can and was waiting to change oil, which I did last weekend. Need to add it to the tank. [up]

[up] I got a bad batch of fuel when I visited a friend in Portland last weekend. Bike started running like SH!!!!T.. Put in fresh gas and some sea foam and she perked right back up. [up]

Also try the procedure on the Sea Foam instruction label to clean carbon deposits from your combustion chambers - with the engine idling, slowly pour Sea Foam directly into the throttle body air intake (give it some slight throttle if necessary to keep it idling and prevent it from stalling out). Immediately turn off the engine and let it sit for 5 minutes. Restart the engine and rev it up - there will be a lot of white smoke. Continue to rev the throttle until the white smoke clears and the exhaust returns to normal.

I have done this on cars never on a bike. Any luck? Did you notice anything different?

LOL ^ This is GREAT to do on bikes! Of course YMMV (you mileage may vary), but I think if you really have some carbon deposits going on, you will notice a real improvement after doing this.

Be very carefull you can hydrolock and possible to bend a rod if you pour to fast

bump for sparky...I Live in Eugene Oregon and it rains all the damn time here.. moisture is my enemy, as I ride year round. Does this help prevent hydroscopic effects of that evil ethanol in my fuel tank and prevent condensation in my primary?
