oil leak help

i have a leak in one of my oil lines and cant seem to find anywhere that sells just the one line i need (other than harley). best i can tell its the oil return line ( furthest on the left side and runs really far forward on the right side ). anybody know where i can get just the one hose for less than what the dealer want to scalp me for? '04 xb12r

interesting....I think we have the same problem. And I have an 04 xb12r as well. In fact I spent most of yesterday taking care of a few niggles on my bike, and that was once of them. Not sure if what I did took care of the problem as yet, cause I am waiting for it to cure, but what I did is get a tube of high temp thread locker made by permatex, and just made sure I cleaned out the threads real good applied a little, and then reinstalled. It was leaking oil on the front of my muffler.....not cool.

Try your local hydraulic shop. These guys should be able to fab lines for anything. They can make them for snowplows and such. Your lines should be easy for them. Just take your old line in with ya.
