My oil pump (07 xb12x) shows some grooving where pump rotor contacts pump housing (ends not faces). They are smooth (rolling, not sharp or abrupt)and the pump was working just fine,(no warning lamp or prob code shown).The rotors sit directly on these surfaces presumably on a layer of oil as they spin. The clearances on the rotor to housing are within spec so I hope to verify this as normal wear and reusable.They seem quite durable from other members post's but ya never know.
