Just doing some research and reading up on Buell when I came across this article. I'm new to Buell and I am in the final stages of buying my first Buell.
My friend had an XB12R back in college and let me ride it a few times. I really loved it. I would ride to school (Arizona State) and I loved all the looks I got and comments people made. So a few years later I'm back in the market and I'm about to purchase an XB12 Scg, and in the process I've been scouring the internet for any information on Buells and Erik Buell himself. As a result, I'm glad I decided to by a Buell. Nothing wrong with American made, great community, and an owner who is passionate about the pursuit of American made sport bikes.
You all may have read this article before, but I found it very interesting. Sad that Harley wanted nothing to do with Erik's business and vision.
