This forum has a post by Gatorbuell that explains painting a Buell's plastics. It's an excellent post. I can't stress enough how important the preperation phase is. Krylon Fusion is an excellent choice. After proper preperation, any of the flats or satins work well also.
if your going to spray paint them i would go with the Krylon Fusion like others have suggested. If you spray them with a HVLP gun make sure you use an adhesion promoter. Your finished product all depends on your prep work so take your time.
krylon fusion sucks, doesnt cover well, adhesion is medocre at best.dont waste time on it ,get bulldog adhesion promoter and paint it with watever u wish.stay away from fusion. ull be much happier without krylon shud be crylong n hard for using it
Would Fusion work OK on the fenders? I have an Orange STT, and kind of would like to do the fenders and fork guards in Fusion "Pumpkin Orange" (OSHA Orange). It is a pale orange like the tank...seems a close match. I assume primer and topcoat as opposed to topcoat only???
