Looking at swapping out my stock lights and replacing them with the mini fog lights PIAA 1400s
I going to use a different front end to change the whole look of the bike and these would work for size.
What can anyone tell me about the ion crystal lights emitting an amber beam? Is the color strong or subtle? Anyone have experience with the PIAA lights.
They say they are 55w=85w. Now not being of the technically minded what are the opinions from the forum.

Thanks in advance.

I would say no.. it sounds dumb but I did that to my scooter, and the first night i was out riding I had a cadillac coming straight at me and they cut right infront of my I almost T-boned them.. they stopped and said they didnt even see me.. the next day my oem was re-installed...

so by personal exp not a good choice, then again it was a scooter.......

I have the PIAA 1100X's on mine. They are bright, but I do use them as Secondary lighting, in addition to the stock H4. the 1100's are a whiter light straighter beam, and I have them aimed flat out, just to remind those that say they didn't see me that I am Here. That also helps the on coming jerk with his High Beams on to lower his beam.
