Like the title says. I don't know if someone already made thread about these tires, but these are the 2 I am looking at purchasing. My buddy and I are looking to get roughly 10k out of these tires sense they are made more for the touring. We've ridden ours bikes for a total of maybe 6 months and we've both put over 10k on them. They both look like pretty good tires, but the pirellis are cheaper. Just wondering if they would hold up just as good as the PR2?

Im wondering the same thing. Im liking the PR2s from the independent testing and seems that the wet traction is much better on the PR2 but like you said the Stradas are cheaper.

glad i'm not the only one. Hopefully some people will answer that as exprience with the two.

I havent ridin though exact tires (the Pirelli's) but I personally probabely wont ride any thing else. I ride the Pirelli Diablo Rosso's. I realize they are totally different tires, if they are anything like these as far as quality, you can go wrong.

the michelin pilot road 2ct will give you better sporty corner grip and better traction in wet conditions.

i get between 8000 to 10000km out of the michelin pilot power 2ct so the pilot road would get you past that easy ;)

I have just the regular Pilot Power now and I love them. They are incredible tires for a Bolt. I would recommend them for sure if anyone asked. So I would imagine the PR2 are just as good.

Dangit....i just bought the diablo corsa III...

i wanted something that would last longer, i couldnt find anyone with experience though...

as a side note....would a 190/55 fit? 1 on the rim and 2 between the swingarm?

thanks!

You don't want to run a 190. The bike is built to handle best with the 180 on it and what will the 10mm do for you? Absolutely nothing. If you want the big tire look you will lose all of your handling when you do the swap.

a 190 tire will give you an unstable bike.

because your tire will be more round, it will actually fall into a corner and you will actually have to counter that, especially with low speed corners.

wear will also be faster since you have a smaller contact surface.

The pilot's for me.I put some miles on my bike daily and they hold up very well, are very precidable, and rather sticky, for dot.
