Question about breather re-route?

I am confused what you hook your hoses to around your air box? I understand everything else im just not shure what you connect the first line too? And doing this re-route what exactually is it doing ?

The hoses your re-routing is the crankcase breathers. All the junk that needs to be vented out of your crankcase is routed into your intake (epa thing) making your bike run like crap. Its oil, water, gasses and just crap that cant be vented off the bike legally by the manufacture so Buell vented it into the intake so it can be burned in the cylinders but water and oil does not mix well and makes it spit and sputter at low rpm's.
