Hmm.

I've thought about this question a lot.

The thing I enjoyed most about the XB, aside from gobs of torque, is how incredibly tight and flickable the handling was. It just did exactly that I wanted to do whenever I asked for it to do so. Especially with the buell pro suspension in it. Thing was a dream, just lean, lean some more, and go faster.

The 1190, feels a smidge bigger than the XB, but its got the same soul. It is very neutral until you ask it to do something, then its aggressive. Has the same flickability as the XB, just feels like a bit larger in size. Add in the amazing amount of mid range power and torque, you have a serious machine on your hands. I've played with the TC settings a lot, and they really do help drive out of corners as well.

There's definitely a common bond between the machines, coming straight from an XBR onto the 1190, it feels very similar, just . . .better in every way. Its like driving an old fox body 5.0 then stepping into a new coyote, same soul, but just . .better.

Haha I knew you'd love that, Sandro!

I loved my XB, put 25k hard, hard miles on her.

I love the 1190RX even more. Already at 5200 miles. About 5 of them easy miles.

Np, feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

If you haven't ridden one, each dealer has a demo specific bike. Go ride it! Make sure you turn TC down to at least 5 or below (3 is the sweet spot) to get a real feeling for how the bike is. Anything higher than that is pretty invasive.

OK well then I won the new EBR jacket for a guy with a new 1190 at the Buell meet, is it selfish to wish I had drew my name instead?
