Is anyone here running the EBR ECM for the Jardine RT1 exhaust on a 2009 XB12S? I have the ECM and want to verify that EBR sent me the right ECM/map for my bike and exhaust. Hoping they have individual part numbers for each version of the ECM. I purchased the ECM a few weeks prior to EBR closing their doors so I wasn't able to contact them to ask the question. Just want to verify the decel popping I get on deceleration in second gear is normal.

Decel poppling is pretty normal on the Buells. It is possible to decrease the decal popping by removing full (increasing the AFR) in the decal zones of the fuel maps if it is a problem.

I'd also check to see how well your Jardine is packed. If the packing is blown out you will get a ton of decel pop, even with the right ECM. Repack with Bristol Core. I run Jardine packed with Bristol Core + EBR ECM and it is an absolute dream.

Which kit did you use from Bristol? Core Wrap kit with universal muffler packing?

They are short enough that they are nearly impossible to wrap around and clip, unless you have the grip and finger strength of a gorilla. I ended up using 12inch clamps and cut off the extra.

Lol. When you put the packing/core back in, did you keep it pretty snug to the inside of the muffler shell? I'm assuming you don't want there to be any air gaps between the packing material and the outside muffler wall?

The Bristol Core packing has an adhesive lip at the edge. So I just wrapped it around and sealed it. Not to tight, not too loose I guess. The muffler liner is a nice addition to close up any gaps.
