Question, should I leave the wheels silver or go with gold

As the title says, debating if I should leave the wheels silver or change to gold/amber-ish. I haven't seen any pics with the silver frame XB9 with gold rims like this:

Here's mine:

I'm going back and forth on it lol. Here's my Kawi 500 I did the wheels gold on about 6 months ago (just sold it)

Leave them silver or go red.... The gold will look like crap with the silver frame.

since you have a silver frame i say leave the rims silver, if you paint your frame and swing arm black then you can't go wrong with the gold, That looks awesome IMO

Ya that's where I have been leaning, I really like them with the dark framed 12's which is what made me consider it but I think with the silver fram,e it'd look funky. I might eventually do that lman, or paint the whole bike Sunset Orange and leave the silver frame and do matching wheels with orange center and aluminum lips

Dont think the gold would pop with the red. Red stands out the most. Gold would pale in comparison. Red rims would add to it! Look for the cherry red rims thatd be nice!

It would be a lot of work to black out the motor and frame, but people have done it. I'm lucky enough to have the black motor and frame. I love the all black and gold ones i have seen. I would leave the rims silver for now just because they do match better unless you change a whole lot more.

OK so while looking at pics of red wheels I saw this....drool....

Ya I'll wait until down the road, probably won't change the frame color, just the main color and what not but that'll be awhile down the road, I like the red. Not sure if I like the red wheels or not, they give it a more "racy" look but I think the silver gives it a more "classy" look, I dunno

Ya I think I'm gonna stick with silver. More I look at it, it flows nice, front wheel-up the forks-down the frame-down the swing arm-rear wheel
