R bags on an S?

Just wondering if anyone has put Firebolt bags on a Lightning? I just bought some that were supposed to be Lightning bags but come to find out their for a firebolt and to top it off no bracket! The bags are in good shape though so I'm going to try to make a bracket to make them work so if anyone has done it be great to see how you did it. Thanks

The lenght of the velcro strap may be an issue.

Had to take a ride to go cjeck on the straps and it looks like they might work. Anyone with lightning bags? Be great if you could post a pick where the straps sit under the seat, thats the only part I'm wondering about. I gotta get a new tail so I know where the blinkers are supposed to be since my bike came with it already chopped. I got enough metal to make a new bracket for that also so maybe I'll go that route since a tail is hard to come by. Thanks again for any input.

Figured before I posted another post here I'd try to get a pic of someones bags and where the strap sits under the seat. Hopefully someone reads this that can help me out. I hope to pull this off since I like the way these Firebolt bags mount compared to lightnings setup. Thanks again
