Race pipe ?

I can buy one from a guy for $350 plus 25 to ship. Is that decent? It's in good shape, but I really don't need a pipe...lol

If there are no dents, it's worth $350. I wouldn't say much more than that though. I'd buy it for $350 if all it needs is a little TLC, but if it's dented, it's not worth more than $200.

Don't know that I've seen any used race pipes around lately without the front dent. $350 is right in the range for something in good shape with the dent. Last eBay race can without any dents was something like $540 at the end of auction IIRC.

There is someone on the forum selling a dented race pipe for $250. I don't remember his screen name. $350 is definitely high for a dented can that needs cleaning up - but in reality its whatever it's worth to the person buying it that makes the price.

What is up with the front dent ? Sold an 03 XB9s a year ago with 9800 miles and the race exhaust ( on bike since new) and had no dent. My 09 SS has 12,000 miles and no dent. What gives ? [confused]

What pipe is that? Too bad it doesn't have mounting brackets for the chin fairing.

Jardine brackets are about $70 shipped.

AFAIK, yes. Should look like the one I posted, that one came off of a 9.

The race pipe will work for both 12's and 9's same with any other XB exhaust the collector outlet is the same size.
