Rear isolator stabilizer inserts

Has anyone tried the aluminum inserts from twin motorcycle for tube frames that supposably eliminate lateral movement of swingarm? I think they're called swingarm isolator stabilizers. Seems like these would make it a ridgid mount at least thru the bolt, causing more vibration and maybe wearing out other swingarm parts. I don't think I actually need these but...Any opinions?
