Recalls

I am curious about the number of recalls 1125r's have had...
I called Harley and they told me that officially there have been 2 - "trans jet 5th gear gulling" which has been done, and then the Brake Line replacement/reroute - which I have yet to do.

Is that really it for recalls or items to tend to? My bike (2008) has about ~900 miles, perfectly maintained, and runs like S**T!

I have a new ECM on the way from EBR so maybe that will solve the issues.

I am just wondering if there is anything that I should be pressing my dealer to have done. Any help is appreciated & thanks.

Once you install the EBR ECM you'll be good to go as far as the tune goes.

Next up will be the clutch cover leak. They are on Rev C. now. This is not a recall issue.

Consequence:

Remedy:

in the meantime I took the bike to a local BMW shop... Oil change, new battery, and an "attempt to fix blinkers" cost ~$400. And i am betting that the bike still doesnt run right.

Blinkers in the 08 rears were superseded that's likely what's wrong.
400 for 3 quarts of oil,filter , battery and turn signals I need to open a bike shop

There was a safety recall on my 08...Fuell vent tube. Be careful about fill ups afterward, though. Mine will puke fuell from it for about 30 miles or until fuell falls below inner filler neck (about a quart) HD says this is normal and nothing is wrong with it. Try telling that to friends behind you ar Hwy speeds! Be cautious...they're out to get ya!
