hi..........................i gather from your current posting that I was right that one of the relais has blown after the mishap with your batttery................I would go to a local harley dealer and buy this part there.....................the supply for Buell parts is still no problem and most of the times the relais is anyway a standard Harley part.
I also gather that the main fuse was not the problem. Please let us know. Best of luck for the part hunt.

Just saw that one of the guys (morgo) in the Buell scg after market parts section is selling parts and it seems that he still has the relais.....................its worth an email.

Thanks everyone. It was not the main 30a fuse. I did the whole flip flopping of relais and like someone mentioned the other fuses kept popping. There is a Harley/ buell dealer like 10 minutes from my house so I plan on getting over there Monday since I doubt they're open on Sundays.

thx for the feedback............................that someone was me:D

The main fuse almost never blows....................unless there is a serious problem with the starter motor.......there is only one other one fuse that that paralyses the whole bike......................which I think is the ingnition switch fuse..................the bike is then electrically dead..................good luck for the repair.

I am thinking it has to be one of the relais because I replaced the ignition switch fuse. Everything powered on when I turned kep but once I went to start it that fuse would pop.

I got the relay from o'riley's popped it in polled a different fuse, flipped out the other relais and started up perfectly. No blown fuses. She runs! Thanks everyone for your help! I really appreciate it!

hi...............cmaus516.............good to hear that your baby ins running....

oh9bolt............in the R models the reials are the three 4 x 4 cm black cubes underneath the cover that is beside the fuses on the left side of the instruments. In the S models they are located underneath the seats.......a relais is a electromagnetic switch (Wikipedia has a nice and simple explaination)......one of the main uses is to use a low current elctric impulse to switch on a high current like e.g the starter motor relais...............which is not to be confused with the ignition relais............with a relais you can manage several switch operation with a single initiating elecrical impulse at the same time.......the CPU of our computers are nothing else than millions of highly integrated small electrical switches (relais).
