Hi,

One of the many previous owners of my xb12s has somehow glued or melted the three chin fairing pieces together. Not a bad idea I think, but one of the seams has cracked, so I want to repair it.
I have searched the internets but cannot find exactly which material the fairings are made of. Does anyone know?
I believe most motorcycle fairings are made of ABS, but I'd rather know for sure before trying on my precious chin fairing.

From what I understand, the material (at least the the colored material) is called Surlyn, which supposedly is the same material used to coat golf balls.
