Replacement engine - Buell blast tranny problems

Re Buell Blast 2004 - Split cases, replaced a shifter fork, and tried to fix tranny but tranny still acting up - what a drag.
In the market for entire lower engine or engine replacement.
OTher than ebay, craigslist etc., any info on salvage or where I could get a replacement engine for a Buell blast? Any other engines you think I could drop in or modify that would fit?
