I'm trying to decide between these two tail kits (yes I've decided credit card vs hand saw) Any suggestions?

I'd like to get aftermarket LEDs at some point, but for now will most likely put stock on.

I'm also planning on getting a plate bracket w/ the hinge to keep it more flush with the tail.

I think the rizoma piece is fiberglass where as the diesel moto is a cast piece. Rizoma makes nice stuff usually but I have heard some negative things on their tail piece. I would go diesel moto. There website is quality and by the looks of it all of there stuff is really high-end.

I went Diesel and I love it!

Took maybe 20 minutes to install from start to finish. Everything fit as if it was from the factory.

Benny do you have any straight on pics from behind? Did you have to do any drilling?

I assume wiring was straight forward?

oconnb17... I don't have a straight on pic at the moment... But I can upload one when I get home from work this evening.!.

There was NO drilling... The part has an opening at the bottom of the taillight to light up the plate. The indicators fit in pre-drilled holes. The supplied plate bracket fit and works perfectly too.

The wiring is easy, to cutting...

Ive got an R&R with LED light which also comes with licence bracket and Kellerman indicators.

Edit: Pic placement

Something to think about...Hawk Performance will chop yours for you for just the cost of shipping!!! Seriously!! [up][up][up]

Nice bike Benny. I was a little distracted by the 5 bags of dog food though. :) You must have some big dogs!

Just rec'd the MotoDiesel eliminator and will take some details pics of the installation. Upon quick inspection it looks like a quality product not to mention I spoke directly with Tom to resolve a minor online ordering issue (not his fault).

Benny where are you in Quebec and what kind of dogs do you have? I guess your a breeder with that many bags in advance.

I dig the MotoDiesel tail... Maybe it wouldn't look bulky off the back end once the aftermarket indicators were thrown on.

Probably would want some smaller LED indicators and possibly and adjustable plate bracket to make it run flush with the tail. I saw an adjustable Rizoma plate braket but that was $150. Pretty ridiculous.

lintbrush... Thanks! I have 2 Malamutes, combined they eat a 60 pound bag every 2 weeks or so. So when Costco has them $9 off I buy 5 or 6 bags!

jsg... I am in Montreal. I am not a breeder, I have my hands full with these 2 brats! Can't imagine more!

oconnb17... I think the bracket that comes with the tail is adjustable, it's metal so you can bend it however you'd like.

I love the look... They never vibrate... Took some getting used to since they are a 3rd the size of stock!
