Hey Joel,

Did you replace the rocker box base gaskets as well as the cover gaskets?
I'm doing this job tomorrow.

Just the cover gaskets, the front was leaking. replaced them both, they had the crappy orange gaskets. replaced w/ the new black ones[up]

so apparently you had enough clearance with the front tire on the ground. good to know

Yes, the front gasket you change like in the pic. the rear you change through the opening in top of the frame. the whole job took about me about 4-5 hours spread out over a couple days. if i were to do it again, about 2 hrs. tops.

Job well done [up]

It's always slow the first time around lol. I want to do this at some point on mine. I have a minor leak on the rear. I want to paint the engine too though, so not sure if I'll have to remove it...

Part # is:

17036-91A GASKET KIT, rocker covers

I paid $60.00 at my local hardly shop.

I'm doing mine right this moment.

There's a lot of oil and maybe a dead fan.

so much cleaning to do..

BTW Joel your bike is super tasteful. I like the blue plastics and wheels together.
