Picked up my first Buell about a month ago. Got a chance to actually go out and ride yesterday and noticed an issue:
Steadily cruising down the road the bike is fine. Under load, at about 1/2-full throttle at around 3000 or 4000 rpm (depending on the gear/speed i'm cruising) it bogs/sputters like the power is vanishing. If I give it 3/4-full it will do this and then cut back in, and continue as if nothing was wrong. But if I crack the throttle open and ride through the rough, after I slow down the bike will bog with anything above the very slightest throttle for a few minutes, then usually return to normal. Since I'm not very familiar with buells I haven't tried anything yet. Since I haven't seen anyonewith this exact problem I figured I'd post it up and see if anyone can pinpoint this issue before I blow days worth of searching.
the only things I could think of are:
TPS, fuel pump, or gas left in from previous owner
