Saddle Bags for 2009 Buell xb9sx City X ?

Hi, does anyone out there know if the Buell Detachable Saddle Bags part # 91458-05Y fit a 2009 xb9sx? According to the '09 catalog/website it will only fit '03-'07 xb9s models??? It doesn't seem like Buell made the saddle bags from an '08 and later models. Is there anyone out there currently using them on the same model Buell? If so, was there any modification involved in using them?

Thanks guys, any input is greatly appreciated. I'm debating on purchasing a pair but am not sure if it will fit.

I have them on my '09. The only problem I have with them are the straps. They are too short. I'm going to have new ones put on it, otherwise they work ok.

Which straps? Is it the one that goes under the seat? Do you have pictures by any chance? Are there any other mounting hardware included or is it just all straps when you mount the saddle bags? Are you putting new straps or just putting new saddle bags all together?

the one that goes under the seat is the worst one. I can just get the end of one strap through the loop of the other strap and no velcro holding it. the top two straps I can barely get hooked. I put the top case on and rode to Indiapolis like that last month though. I only have pics of the bags on the bike at night. I'll try to take some pics for you though. I'm going to get new straps put on. A shop where I work said they could do it no problem and I got a good deal on the bags so it's still ok

Cool. Thanks... I'd like to see it. So there's definitely some modifications involved to attach it right. I'm still trying to track a pair throughout the nation. It turns out, the dealership I called in Florida is also out of it. I'm still hoping to find a pair somewhere out there.

If you have the cash drop it on the hepco and becker hardcases it will give you either 60 liters or 80 liters of storage.
