Well got another saddlebag issue on my hands and was wondering if someone hear can help out. Got a chance to buy another set of bags that are supposed to be for a lightning, but the guys not sure what model lightning. SO... anyway to tell the SS bags from the regular S style? Thought I remember a thread on hear about the two, but I've searched all morning with no solid results. Waiting for the guy to send me some pics, so untill then thats all I got to go by.

I already found the difference between the firebolt bags and the lightning bags on the last ordeal, so atleast I won't get another set of those! Any help is much appreciated. -Arthur-

Can he get you a part number? 91555-05y and 91555-06Y are the numbers for the Ss saddlebags, 91458-05Y and 91458-06Y should be the regular lightning bags.

Miami- Thats what I was thinking, But Buell don't put part numbers on the bags. Atleast the bags I already got and have seen.

Raz- thats what I was looking for! thought there was a way to tell them apart. You sure on this though?

Appreciate the info guys, hope to seal the deal in abit if all goes well. -Arthur-

This is the picture I got. Looks like 3 straps?

I have a Ss bag set, and that is them. They may work on an S model. I know the straps are spaced to go between the battery, ECM, and plugs that are under the seat.

Looks like I might pass then and just use my Ventura setup. Really like the looks of the Buell bags Vs. the Ventura Racks though, but wasn't meant to be I guess. take care -Arthur-
