Scg to s swap 03 41mm to 41mm?

I've seen plenty of posts about scg to s or s to scg and I hear that you have to change your lower triple because an s usually comes with 43 mm forks. Well what the scg were to swap with an 03 or an 04 where the forks were still 41mm. From my point of view this would be a much easier swap.
If I'm correct it should just be forks shock and kickstand.
Am I missing anything?
