Anyone have a Scorpion helmet with the Speedview Sunvisor? How well does it work? Thks!

Have 2 co workers with one, I will be purchasing one soon too. They said if works good if the outer lens is down as well. One of them said it was weird seeing dark through a lens in direct field of vision, and regular daylight in the bottom part of your field of view. But Really I'm just after the Air fit pads and anti fog lens. Bilt has a helmet with the speed view and air fit as well. Cycle gear had them on sale for 100$. But I'm after the lens with scorpion.

I have one... Kind of a novelty I rarely use. If it was darker I might like it better. Oh.. and sometimes it rattles.

I have been wearing one for about 2 years. I really like it, especially this time of year when it is dark when I am heading to work, but blazing sunshine when I head home. The 2 main drawbacks I find are that with the extra mechanism and visor the helmet is a bit heavier than others and the venting isn't as good. I really like the visor "cracked open" setting that allows the visor to be opened about 1/8 inch to allow air in.

I agree with what everyone above has said. All I can add is I have the Scorpion EXO 500 and I only use it if I know I will be out at sunset and sunrise but that's about it. It is a good option for not carrying a spare shield. I guess I'm just partial to my EXO 700... I love that helmet!:D[up]

Yeah... I should have added that I have the EXO 1000. That was the only one that would fit my big 'ol Moon-Pie head.

I have the exo 1100 and I love it, works great, never falls as some say it may. Mine is new mabie they fixed that.

I had a snowmobile helmet with a built in visor, and I hated it. It rattled like crazy, and the view was strange with the visor only going down so far, and regular daylight being visible in the lower portion of my sight line.

Never again. For a bike, I just wear sunglasses under my brain bucket, and take them off when I dont need them.

Thank you all for the input. I decided to stay with what I know and ordered the 700. I think it will be a big improvement over the HJC I have. Can't wait to get it.......
