Screamin Eagle Air Cleaner

There is a Screamin Eagle air cleaner for a 06 & up Sportster on craigslist. I was wondering if this would fit my 2000 X1? I've heard most people say get one for a sportster but I don't know if the set-ups are still the same since there is a few year difference. Any help would be highly apprechiated as I really want this to get rid of my scuffed up bread box lol.

I think it will work, but Buells are offset towards the front to give you room for your knee. I think the sportster one mounts in the center the buell one is more towards the back which moves the whole thing forward.

Kinda hard to see but if you look at my air cleaner cover you can see that the mounting bolts are towards the front the carb is torward the back

After doing some research I found this link where a guy has a oval screamin eagle air cleaner that will fit 88-03 xl's. This is making me think that the cleaner I'm looking at might not work?

Just looked at the links the mounting holes on the one you were looking at are slightly different would cause it to be angled up from what i can see in the picture. The one on badweb has the right mounting holes but like they said its going to be a knee basher
thats the type I thought you were talking about in my first repley. I have the Buell pro set up on mine (picture above) and my knee just touches the edge

Yea I've been looking at forcewinders but I'm hard pressed to spend $300+ for a pipe and filter lol. I've been looking for the "Deal" but they're hard to come by for this specific item.

Yeah was just poke around on e-bay there is a buell pro set up for 100 bucks. If you type in buell air cleaner. I wanted a force too but can't see spending that much either.
