Wondering how many miles people have put down this riding season(Assuming you cant ride all year)
I live in washington state, I ride from Feb-Nov(I hope) Iv had my '08 XB12R since April and have 5700miles. Another 800miles on my old Yamaha this season before I switched. Hoping to ride thru most of Nov

Bought my 03 xb9r on Fathers Day this year(now thats buing yourself a gift)put a bit over 5800 on it and counting.Rain is comming soon here in northern cali,so who knows.

rode 7 months before totaling bike had 8000 miles just from nightly coffee runs dont ride much in the day

All year around, about 9k a year. Our riding weather starts in October and runs threw April. The summer is way to hot to ride other than commuting. Its still in the upper 80's right now. I cant wait to break out the Leather. Matter of Fact we are going on our first organized ride of the Fall Saturday morning.

I ride an 03 xb9s and have 3700 miles on her! I have 3 cars and 2 bikes and its just me and the wife that can drive. my other bike is an 06 and it only has 800 miles on it.

I ride from march-november. I started this season with 14,500miles and I am currently pushing 25,000+miles. I have roughly andother 30 days of riding to go. I'm riding in 30-40 degree weather as well....

have you thought of or had any problem with excess water getting into your airbox because how you opened it up?

Its working well, I got caught in a down poor the other day and got a lot of water in the box and it ran fine. All my buddies run Hyperchargers on their cruisers and those things welcome water while riding and no one has had any problems. The noise is the only issue but I ware earplugs so its not bad.

I bought my 06' xb12Ss on July 2nd with 1,600 miles on it. I think I broke 6,000 miles on the bike this morning, so roughly 4,400 miles so far. I'll ride into November and any nice days that pop up through out the winter.

Gator-you can't ride in summer? I can't imagine many places that it was hotter than the desert here.. it was 115, and i was still riding in it -with a jacket on!

Yea I still ride, Its just when its 98 degrees and 100% humidity with a duepoint of 75 you will sweat standing still in the shade. Its not fun riding weather especially on a air cooled v twin.

gotcha.. to each their own anyway.. i know plenty of people that ride when it's colder than I prefer.. (those are the ones that don't ride when it's so hot when I do) so we have to get a happy medium and ride together in between the extremes..
btw-forgot to add, put about 1500 miles on my yamaha before i traded it for the buell this summer.
so all total this year 4500 miles
