I was going to buy a replacement cowl that removes the seat, but i decided to McGuyver one today. Rainy out so, why not? The back of a sport bike is no place for a human in my opinion... So to hell with it.

I would still have to build a tray for the new one so this works out just great. I saved the holy-**** strap, bolts, washers, foam and original upholstery. If anybody wants to re-cover theirs, PM me and ill sell it for the first reasonable offer. :p

The cowl makes a handy bolt tray, BTW. I Used a Magnetic armband I found at the dollar store to hold the metal tools in place while riding. Bolted that in place, with a little trial and error so the bolts don't interfere with the operation of the seat.
Spongy Weather stripping I had left over from fixing my door served well to hold the cowl in place now that the foam and "leather?" are gone.

Any other fun mods for like 20 bucks and an afternoon you buellsters recommend?
