Looking for a solo seat, figured before I eBay mine or something I'd see if someone would lime to trade me seats. Its in excellent condition, no rips or anything. Its a nice comfy seat for two.

Solo seat? not sure if the Ss has a Solo seat, unless you are talking about an Scg seat which wont work on your bike. The only solo seats I know of are Firebolt race seats and or like mentioned an S seat with maybe a rear seat cowl on it. There is a complete replacement too. Both are found at www.trojan-horse.co.uk/

Maybe you would be better off with something like this.

i assumed this was the seat he was looking for, which is the only good looking seat for the long framed XBs, in my opinion...

I wish the seat for the 05-06 9sx was shaped like this, I've had thoughts of trying to trim mine to this shape, but I've already uncovered it once, and I don't know how many more holes I can staple into the bottom and still have the vinyl hold without ripping.

Upthemaiden----That's the one they call the " solo " seat that comes on the TTs .

Xtreme-----That blk/amber XB has the TT solo seat with the aftermarket seat cowl on it .

Like has been said already, the solo seat for the Ss is the seat that came stock on the STT.

By far my favorite seat when riding alone...easy to move around on, easy to hang off of, very comfy as long as you stay on the padded area (what is typically the passenger area is not very comfy at all!). You can find them on ebay fairly regularly for $80-100 in new or near new shape.

Is there something different about the seat that would keep a passenger from being able to sit on it, aside from the lack of a strap? I've never had a passenger that actually used that strap so that wouldn't be much of an issue, but I wasn't sure if there was something different about the seat, other than the foam being thin.

The tall seat from the 05-06 9sx is definitely a fun seat to ride with. Super tall, easy to move around, can scoot my butt all the way back. The only downside is when I'm used to that little lip on my low seat catching me when I really get on the gas, sometimes I don't think to hold on and slide back a bit haha. I just wish it wasn't so ugly(9sx seat, not the solo seat), but maybe if I trim mine down a bit I'll like the look of it better.

Nothing to prevent someone from sitting on it, but the padding back there is almost nonexistant...so I can't imaging anyone wanting to sit there for long.

Do those number plates just bolt on to where the passenger pegs would normally fit? They could look cool on a normal xbs but I didn't know how they actually fit.
