2008 Buell XB12SCG, roughly 22K mi as I still ride it. Bike is in perfect running order and needs nothing to be ridden for some time. Has a new battery, tires still have life left, brakes have plenty of pad left, and I just changed all the fluids. I am the third owner. Previous owner treated it like his baby; so far as his wife was surprised he was selling it. Owner before him was an older gentleman. Bike has always been maintained on time and with quality products. Bike has a number of goodies, plus quite a few extras to go with it.
Goodies:
Custom silver pin-striping on front cowl
Integrated digital volt meter
Bar end mirrors with custom anodizing to match bike
Aftermarket adjustable levers
Gel grips
Carmichael Pro Taper bars (wider and lower)
LED turn signals
Fender eliminator with integrated lighting for the plate
Custom painted rims to match bike, with additional touch up paint
Modified airbox with K&N filter
Drummer exhaust
Buelltooth ECM communicator
ECM properly tuned for intake and exhaust mods

Extras:
Buell logos were removed from the airbox, but additional decals came with the bike. I never put them on as I thought the bike had a nice clean look to it without them.
Also have custom decals to mount on the frame. It's the HD skull with Buell wings
Rear pegs were removed, but will be included
Factory Buell passenger seat expandable storage bag
Have the factory Buell tool kit as well as a complete repair manual.

KBB has it at $4100 with its factory options, NADA has it at $2900, shooting for the middle at $3500. We all know how this works though...talk is cheap and cash is king, so if you want to low ball me, do it in person with cash in hand and maybe you'll catch me in a moment of weakness haha.

FYI... that is a tiny bike. The short WB and the lowered suspension make it look about the size of a Grom.

They are kind of cool, especially when idling... makes me think. "All that power in such a small bike!"

Sorry to hear.

IMHO, I would not sell that for a penny under $4000. Even at that price it is a steal. Not sure how bad you need the money, but with the weather warming up, I hope you can be patient and get the money you deserve for a really nice bike

Great looking bike for sure. Definitely worth the 30-something hundred bucks.

Yeah but.... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^, I really do like that SCG. I do kind of know that is isn't a Uly.
Just a little 'buyers remorse' with the meticulously maintained lie. My Uly was filthy and not very pretty.
My bad.

My 07 SS was really, really dirty,, even when the original owner sent me pictures, I asked him if there was something wrong with his camera, he said no and that the bike was really, really dirty because the only place he could keep it was in his woodshop ! I bought the bike over the phone and had it shipped from Houston Texas to NJ. When I cleaned it off, there was a brand new Buell under all the wood dust with 617 original miles on it, I had to finish breaking it in. So, never under estimate a dirty bike !

How hard is it to lift up the suspension to 12S spec?

If the bike is still available two weekends from now I will seriously think about hoping on a flight to MN.

IIRC the uppers are the same but the lowers are shorter (as are the springs). I haven't had them apart side by side, so don't quote me. Most people find it much more cost effective to e-bay parts they can just bolt-on.

If you choose to take it all apart, please document it:eagerness: It's a common wish-list item for people who find the right deal on the wrong bike.

What would be the process of buying a bike out of state that you can't go see? How do you trust the seller and how does he trust you or how do you get him to trust you? Curious because I'm thinking of going this route.
