Service port for ecmspy...

Where is the damn service port on the X1??? I can find it anywhere....i feel like it may be up under the tank??? Any suggestions??? Thanks

just pulled off the gas tank....I am really not seeing a plug that will fit the ecmspy cable...

For some reason I'm thinking its behind the front windshield or I'm confused with another bike. I recall the ECM being under the seat and I feel like it should be somewhere near that.

Mine is at the front right side of the tank cover at the steering neck...should be able to see it peeking out around there somewhere.

the factory location should be by the steering neck on the right side. There was a factory clip that held it in place. It should be grey in color and came with a black rubber cap. If you pull the tank off, there should be a bunch of wires and plugs above the front cylinder, whatever plug is not plugged into anything.. thats the port.

There is no empty plug anywhere...........really confused

Found it....it was inside that tray for the fuse box under the seat.
