Dude, I got in my car the other day after work and I touched my stearing wheel and thought for sure my hand had third degree burns.

I cried like a little baby girl for two and a half days.

Ouch man ! Phoenix& Tucson are winter visitations for me, only.

When we 1st got here, the news channels did temp tests for average temps on the interior parts of a car.
average temp was over 200f. steering wheel was 240f, the highest temp was the ignition switch, the little ears that you had to touch to start the car where 295f, and usually Chrome, everyone here had what we called the permaburn on our right thumb pad and middle section of our right index finger, I do believe that is why all cars went to the gigantic ignition key, at least its cooler when its with you.
