:D

Wow, after research I hear alot about the jardine falling apart on alot of people. I dont think I will buy one of those. Oh and seat cowl looks cool!

Thanks guys...

triple7: don't get the CF can :) Alu or Ti. should be np though...

that tail piece looks nice and seems to be much cheaper than most other places that sell one similar to it.

As far as Jardine pipes go they seem to not be very good pipes at all.

Midnight82: lol true... it crossed my mind for a second as I was planning to ride this wkd (after a month without being able to!!! :().

firebolt020283: that's why I got that seat cowl! And the owner of Solo Buell (located in Spain) is a great and helpful guy... answered all emails within hours.
As for the Jardine, I like the pipe in general (power curve, sound, VERY low weight etc...), but yeah, they could have figured a better way to mount that tip to the CF...

theFatman81: that's the stock Jardine packing :) I ordered this as replacement: https://www.bristolcore.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=14214

It has 2 tabs that fold below the seat: these get locked in place using the 2 screws holding the passenger strap in place.

It was a VERY tight fit to get the cowl on the seat (had to remove the seat side "locking brackets" as well to get it on). BTW, my bike is Scg, but the seat is from an XB9sx, so that may be the reason. The cowl is supposed to fit the 9 & 12 though I think.

So will solo buell ship to US and how much does shipping international typicaly run... I was thinking about getting the soft clutch from them

seat cowl looks very clean & cool. looks factory , thats the best way to go custom , it looks like it was original. but different.

I love the jardine, SEVERAL thousand miles and no problems. Every company has their faults though and sometimes alot of bad pipes get made. Leo Vince had it for awhile as did two brothers. I hope you get it all sorted out and fixed though.

browland: it wasn't bad at all surprisingly... not sure exactly how much though. Contact them, the guy is great to deal with.

Contact the guy from Solo Buell and ask him, he will respond quickly and is a great guy.
