SOS from Blast rider

So yesterday I noticed my idle was rough on my 03 blast .. and today I went to ride it. Started up like regular. At first the rpms were high but dropped after it warmed up a bit. Then started idling rough and eventually just died .. it starts up again but dies after 'bout 30 secs of rough idle.

I took off the airbox cover and it was oily inside .. I cleaned the air filter and wiped the inside 'bout 3 weeks ago

Can anyone shed some light? Don't wanna have to take it to the HD dealership

Maybe the rubber boot between the carb and the manifold is leaking (sucking air) from bumping it when you wiped out the oil bout 3 wks ago. Try re-seating that set-up and re-tighting it. Check for splits or cracking.

das boot lol it's sucking in air thru there .. I can feel it when it's running.
But gonna change the plug, oil, and oil filter while I'm at it

Check das boot and your grounds.

Grounds are good .. 'twas the boot had a big crack in it .. just waitin' on the new one
