Anyone in the San Diego-Los Angeles area of So. Cal? Just wondering because it seems like most are back east, in the south, and midwest...

Right on! Palm springs isn't too far away. It would be a good ride! I honestly didn't expect to hear much back but I'm starting to feel like there is a greater buell presence than I know of...

Well, maybe we could plan a meet one of these days. I haven't ridden as far as SD - about 2 1/2 hours from here if my memory serves correctly. The ride home from where I bought my bike was about an hour - maybe a little less - of freeway travel. The Firebolt felt very stable on the freeway and I really enjoyed the ride, so I think a ride toward that part of So Cal wouldn't be too bad on a nice a day. I do plan on wearing earplugs the next time I do any freeway riding though.... between the wind noise and the exhaust sound, I felt like I'd been at a rock concert when I got home!

Yeah definitely. Right now I am waiting on a replacement wheel so I can get out and ride again, but the weather is starting to look better and better so I'll have to fix it soon

Seriously! I'm a full-time student and finals are almost over so I'm already mentally prepared. I also want to do a ride out to Texas because I have a friend out there who needs to be introduced to my Buell

I've offered this before, but I'll offer it again. If a bunch of local Buell riders want to get together and meet at my house on a weekend day, I can do a group tuning session (everyone needs their own laptop and cable) and give everyone a huge discount.

I'm in the Temecula / Murrieta area half the week, and in the Orange County area the other half. Almost always have the Buell with me wherever I am at.

Maybe we should get group together somewhere in the the Inland Empire area for a meet. I don't know anyone here in the Coachella Valley. LA and SD are both about 2 1/2 hours away. I have a hard time picturing myself riding that far to meet up and go on another ride and then ride home after that. If I had someone to ride with from nearby, I'd be more into it. Just a thought.
