So I have a fouled out plug and I don't wanna buy the Harley plugs. Does anyone know the part number for the ngk iridium

typed 'sparkplugs' in the site search feature
amazing the amount of info that came up

dif between DCPR8EIX and a DCPR9EIX NGK Iridium plug, is that the (8) runs hotter than the (9) plug.

i was under the impression the 9 ran hotter than the 8?

Does it change with mods maybe it was awfull with the 8s i have a pipercross air filter race ecm d&d exaust and reroute

Well looking at that the 1200sportster motor uses dcpr7eixs and is based on the same motor just not as high strung so it would only make sence that you may need a cooler plug with mods.right?

I keep fouling plugs on my kx 125 .. I'm using iriduim 9s .. took it to autozone and asked if there are hotter ones. They said the iriduim 9s are the hottest...

Few people understand plugs and heat ranges.

Each brand has its own system.

So, no.

Stick to the V-rod column.

you shouldnt be using any hd specs to choose a plug for a buell

well i was under the impression that the 8 ran hotter then the 9 did as far as the NGK line goes. i had the 8's in my bike when i bought it and later switched out to the 9's. going to the ngk 9 was a BIG improvement in the way the bike ran. plus i use to get some pinging when the bike was real hot and i would wind out the gas but that is a thing of the past.

my bike is a:
2006 xb12s
mainly stock but with
hawk
breather reroute
and
K&N
that is all i have done for performance.
