Hey guys. Has anyone put a speedohealer on an XB? I ordered their Buell plug and play kit, but can't find the deutch connector on the VSS wire. Probably just going to have to solder the wires, but maybe I didn't look hard enough for the connector. Manuals don't show if it's there or not, does anyone know if there is a connector between the VSS and the ECM?

Sure is, connector 65A & 65B, now it's just a matter of finding it. ;) (The wiring schematic is in the "Appendices" section of the Service manuals you can download off here)

I think the 08+ bikes have the plug right on the sensor, no lead.
where did you get your corrector? I have two bikes with miss reading spedo's

I think you may be right on the 08+ plus bikes, I couldn't find that connector in my 09 electrical manual. I fought for 20 minutes trying to get my big stupid hand into that little spot where the VSS is to unplug it only to discover it was the wrong type of plug (the plug is right on the sensor). I got the speedohealer at calsportbike.com.
Thanks for putting up the schematic, Steven. Do you know what year manual that's from? Oh well, I guess I'll just wire it in and be done with it.

2009 Electrical Diagnostic manual page 6-68. The 65A&B are right on the sensor but the wire colours for the loom are the same as the earlier diagram above.

R/W - sensor +5Volts power
B/W Sensor ground
W - sensor output to ECM
