i set about fitting up the new look for stella.

now unfortunately although the blokes at speed of color look like they know their stuff, they are very lacking when it comes to 'providing' details about how and what. for example...needing to cut your rail to fit or work involved, but they dont give details... you gotta work it out. also the fitting of all the bits. how they did it, or what to look out for. you email them and they are very poor with details. so after a lot of fukin about and then realising i have to do something fancy with the regulator as well as tailor everything to fit, and standing back looking at it for a few days, i have settled with teh original tail, and honestly it actually looks more horn!

the panels are good. one is a bit 'rough' and something i didnt really expect again. maybe i am a little odd, but i kinda expect a product that is close to paint. 90% was. but still all is looking good.

so first stage is done... stella has her panels and a bit of linage to work some colour and detail ideas...

next is the paint. stay tuned.

i think its a great body kit. suits the styling.

@ bobaganoosh... if you look close at the first pic you will see my lightning tail. i even cut the rail. but as it went together and the fact i like hte select seat, made it look a little fat and stumpy. the slimmer seat looks better, but i dont like that. and besides that there is a ***** load of stuff to cram under the seat let alone the sorting of the regulator heatsink. so after a long play and lack of reply from speed of color i went with the standard tail. it will look good though. suits the panels.

actually my progress has stopped for now. i have been riding her, and have found that on our aussie roads, with their little bumps, humps and dips that the bike bottoms out when getting on it through bends. from about 1/3 of hte way down on teh underside and at teh rear.

seems its more a germany flat road or track type piece of kit... so for it to work out here now i am thinking to trim off some of the underside pan. bit of a bummer, but will have a look aat whats best and carry on forward.

will take some pics.
